The Jacksons is a colourful, vibrant lifestyle boutique based in London’s Notting Hill. Est 1998.

Back in 2012, founders (and sisters) Joey and Louise Jackson, were introduced to a man who worked in the Voluntary Service Organisation in Bangladesh and soon after their first signature ‘word bag’ was made.

Their  dream of building a company that creates jobs for communities in Bangladesh quickly grew. Starting with 100 weavers, there are now more than 1000 artisans, predominantly women, establishing their craft, who are paid directly, giving them independence and empowerment with a status that enables them to be a more prominent member of their families.

These artisanal, long-lasting, durable bags are made of natural Jute and are handcrafted in Bangladesh. Every season this wonderful collaboration between The Jackson and these skilled craftsmen see’s new, humorous word concepts and beautiful unique colour palettes brought to life.
